Dress Code

(No uniforms are required.)

Clothing should be appropriate for the learning and athletic activities of the school environment.

  • Clothing should not be too tight or too loose. Bare midriff blouses, tube tops, spaghetti straps, bicycle shorts, short shorts and "saggy" pants are not considered appropriate.

  • Comfortable shoes suitable for physical activities should be worn (no sandals, high heels or open toe shoes).

  • No "heelies" (shoes with skates) are allowed.

  • No make up allowed.

  • Large loop earrings can present a danger during physical education activities and should not be worn at school.

  • Baseball caps, hats or beanies are allowed but are not to be worn in the classrooms or buildings.

  • T-shirt slogans should not be offensive (no profanity, ethnic slurs or references to alcoholic beverages).

  • Parents will be called if students violate the dress code.
